The fifth session of the working group took place from 12 to 23 September 2005. The working group adopted the draft International Convention for the protection of all persons from enforced disappearances and decided to transmit it to the Commission on human rights. The Working group thus completed its mandate. The text of the draft convention for the protection of all persons from enforced disappearance is contained in annex I of the report of the fifth session.
