5th session of the Human Rights Council: NGO & NHRI List of Speakers

With regard to the registration of speakers, representatives of NGOs, NHRIs and other observers should register in person with the list of speakers' desk as of Monday 11 June (see point "NEW1" below).

Please note that the List of Speakers will be opened for NGOs as of 9.30 a.m. on Monday 11 June, in the plenary room. Kindly note that suggested guidelines for NGO oral statements have been posted on the extranet and will be available at the list of speakers' desk.

The relevant registration forms for individual and joint statements may be downloaded below but should be brought in person to the List of Speakers' desk (faxes will not be accepted).

Only NGOs not represented or based in Switzerland wishing to join an NGO joint statement being delivered during the fifth session may inform the Secretariat in advance of the debate by fax: (number to be confirmed)

NEW1: To facilitate the participation of NGOs not represented in Switzerland , the List of Speakers will be opened on Monday 11 June. Pre-inscriptions by fax (+41 22 917 03 39) will be allowed for NGOs not based/represented in Switzerland and NHRIs only, as soon as the List of Speakers for NGOs & NHRIs will be opened in the plenary room (on Monday 11 June 2007).
Pre-inscriptions (see fax sample below) will have to be confirmed in person prior to the commencement of relevant segment.
