2nd session (first part and resumed) of the Human Rights Council - Provisional Agenda

Note by the Secretary-General

The provisional agenda for the second session of the Human Rights Council as proposed by the President of the Council is reproduced below. The work of the Council during its second session will be organized in accordance with the draft framework for the programme of work of the Council for its second session as contained in Council's decision 2006/105 of 30 June 2006 entitled "Draft framework for a programme of work of the Human Rights Council for the first year".

Provisional agenda

• Adoption of the agenda and organization of work.
  
• Implementation of General Assembly resolution 60/251 of 15 March 2006 entitled "Human Rights Council".
  
• Report to the General Assembly on the second session of the Council.
