Accreditation and issuance of badges for all delegates wishing to attend the session:
Requests for accreditation should be made by sending a letter (either by fax or as a scanned attachment to an email) listing the full names of those who will be attending to the Human Rights Council Secretariat.

Kindly note that representatives in possession of an identification badge issued by the Security and Safety Section of the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) or United Nations Headquarters in New York (UNHQ) will have unrestricted access to conference rooms. However, they should announce themselves to the Human Rights Council Secretariat through the same letter requesting accreditation, see above.
Delegates, on whose behalf an accreditation request has been made, should go in person, with a valid identification document and a copy of the request for accreditation, to the “Pregny Gate” of the Palais des Nations and a photo-badge valid for the duration of the session will be issued.
During the session, the Accreditation Officer will be present at the “Pregny Gate”, which is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday and exceptionally on Monday, 1 March from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Access to the public gallery
A limited number of seats in the Public Gallery, above the Conference Room XX, are available for persons wishing to observe the proceedings of the Human Rights Council without being accredited as participants (i.e. students, and academics).
Individuals or groups who wish to attend are required to email (24 hours before the desired date) the Accreditation Officer (details above) with the following information:
- Date(s) of the visit;
- Purpose of the visit; and
- Full name(s) of those wishing to attend.
Access to the public gallery will be granted depending on the availability of seating and other circumstances.
