11th session of the Human Rights Council - NGO & NHRI List of Speakers

Modalities for NGO oral interventions will be posted on the HRC Extranet under the NGO Liaison information page.

With regard to the registration of speakers, representatives of NGOs, NHRIs and other observers should register in person with the list of speakers' desk as of Monday 2 June 2009, at 9.30 am, outside the plenary room.

The relevant registration forms for individual and joint statements may be downloaded below but should be brought in person to the List of Speakers' desk (faxes will not be accepted).

In order to facilitate the participation of NGOs and NHRIs not represented/based in Geneva/Switzerland, pre-inscriptions by electronic mail will be allowed as soon as the List of Speakers opens (9.30 am on Monday, 2 June 2009). The relevant forms can be downloaded below. It should be emailed to hrcngo@ohchr.org or sent by fax to +41 22 917 03 49. Inscriptions will be taken on a first come first serve basis, taking into account the logged time.

Only NGOs not represented or based in Switzerland wishing to join an NGO joint statement being delivered during the eleventh session may inform the Secretariat in advance of the debate by filling the below form, duly signed, and send a scanned copy to hrcngo@ohchr.org or by fax to +41 22 917 03 49..

NEW: Pre-registrations and email inscriptions, as well as the speaker’s name, should be confirmed in person at the list of speakers’ desk in the 24 hours preceding the relevant meeting.
