General Discussion on the preparation for a General Comment on Article 9 (Liberty and Security of Person) of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights
To be held in Palais des Nations Room XII, on the 25th October from 15 00hrs

Deadlines for submission of documents by NGOS and NHRIs for the July session

Please transmit to the HRCtte Secretariat in Geneva reports with respect to States upon which List of Issues, and List of Issues Prior to Reporting (LOIPR), will be adopted (at least in electronic form) by 3 August and by 21 September in hardcopy (10 hardcopies).

The deadline for information on States parties to be examined by the Committee is 21 September (22 hardcopies).
