29th Meeting of States parties to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (New York, 2 September 2010): election of 9 members
The Human Rights Committee is composed of 18 independent experts. Members are elected for a term of four years by States parties.
A meeting of States parties took place in New York on 2 September 2010 to elect members to replace nine members whose term expires on 31 December 2010.
