All observers of the Committee session require accreditation to the session. To obtain accreditation, please fill out the accreditation form (available in pdf and Word), sign and send it by fax to 0041-22-917 9008. In order to ensure the accreditation of participants, all requests for accreditation should reach OHCHR by Monday, 5 September 2011, at the latest. Accreditation will enable participants to obtain a badge from the UN Security Unit, which will permit access to the conference room. The session will take place at Palais Wilson (ground floor conference room), 52 rue de Paquis, 1201 Geneva, Switzerland.
The Committee on the Rights of the Child, in reviewing reports submitted by States Parties, accepts submissions by non-governmental organisations on the implementation of the Convention and the Optional Protocols on reporting States. These submissions can be viewed on the website of the Child Rights Information Network (CRIN) at http://www.crin.org/Alternative-reports/index.asp. Organisations that wish to submit information to the Committee may do so through the NGO Group for the Convention on the Rights of the Child:
