Fourth meeting of States parties to the Convention on Migrant Workers: result of the elections

The fourth meeting of States parties to the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families took place in New York, on 3 December 2009, to elect nine members of the Committee on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families in order to replace the five members whose terms of office will expire on 31 December 2009, as well as four additional members, in light of the entry into force of the Convention for the forty-first State party on 1 July 2009, in accordance with article 72, paragraphs 1 to 5, of the Convention.
