Pre-Sessional Working Group, 25-28 May 2010
All participants in Committee sessions will require accreditation to the session. To obtain accreditation, please fill out the accreditation form (available in pdf and Word), sign and send it by fax to 0041-22-917 9008, or by e-mail to Susan Mathews, Secretary smathews@ohchr.organd Robert Ouko rouko@ohchr.org. In order to ensure the accreditation of participants, all requests for accreditation should reach OHCHR by Tuesday 25th May 2010 at the latest (Since Monday the 24th in an Official Holiday). Accreditation will enable participants to obtain a badge from the UN Security Unit. In general, the meetings of the pre-sessional working group take place in private and are thus not open to NGO participation or observation. However, a meeting is reserved on the afternoon of the first day of the pre-session for exchanges with partners, including UN agencies and NGOs, in relation to the States parties to be reviewed by the working group. Accreditation procedures apply to those who wish to participate in that meeting.
Organizations wishing to submit Information for the Committee with respect to these countries are welcome to do so. Submissions will be treated as public documents unless specifically marked "Confidential". They should be sent electronically to the Committee secretariat at cescr@ohchr.org, as well as in 10 hard copies by 3 May 2010 , to:
