Statement by the Committee: An evaluation of the obligation to take steps to the "Maximum of available resources" under an optional protocol to the Covenant
All participants in Committee sessions will require accreditation to the session. To obtain accreditation, please fill out the accreditation form (available in pdf and Word), sign and send it by fax to 0041-22-917 9008, or by e-mail to wlee@ohchr.org and jschneider@ohchr.org. In order to ensure the accreditation of participants, all requests for accreditation should reach OHCHR by Wednesday, 25 April 2007, at the latest. Accreditation will enable participants to obtain a badge from the UN Security Unit, which will permit access to the conference room. The conference will take place at Palais Wilson (ground floor conference room), 52 rue de Paquis, 1201 Geneva, Switzerland.
Organizations wishing to submit Information for the Committee with respect to these countries are welcome to do so. Submissions will be treated as public documents unless specifically marked "Confidential". They should be sent electronically to the Committee secretariat at wlee@ohchr.org, as well as in 25 hard copies, by 16 April 2007 to:
